The Mysterious World of Airline Revenue Management

One of my biggest passions is learning about how airlines price their tickets.  There are so many routes, options and an ever changing set of factors like weather, holidays, competitor airlines, and special events to consider.  It seems like the most daunting and exhilarating job on the planet.  Below is a video produced by American Airlines explaining the process and how the American revenue management team works to maximize their profits while also keeping prices affordable for travelers.  Although a bit "dumbed down," I still think it's a helpful take on the whole process.  Take a look and let me know your thoughts.
